2001 Moto Guzzi V11 Rosso Mandello

Changes my Circle of Life compel me to my beautiful 2001 Italian Guzzi V11 Sport Rosso V-Twin motorcycle. I am the original of number #261 of 300 originally limited edition Rosso cafe bikes. After a debut picture of this in a cycle magazine, I chased the Moto Guzzi VP of Marketing America himself in order to this bike back in September 2001.

To his knowledge, were 2 available in the USA east of the River at the time one sold as as it hit the show room floor. A all my life, I bought #261 unseen from Myers of Ashville, North Carolina. The Edition Rosso Mandello the 80 th anniversary of Moto Guzzi production. This shaft-driven represents it well.

I refer to it as my Maserati. The burbling exhaust from the V twins are superb. The is powerful soulful. This is now 10 years old with only miles (5065 km).

The V11 Rosso Mandello provides 30+ mpg a range of approximately 180 — 200 per tankful depending on driving Specs claim a top speed of (200km/h). I’ve personally 115mph (185km/h), which was fast enough on 2 wheels.

I planned on keeping this until I became a doddering old no longer able to ride on 2 But I just don’t find the to ride anymore my riding is so short; plus my favorite pals are now … or gone. Guzzi was last registered during the 2009 season. It is to have this bike set up like unseen fine It must be driven enjoyed by its rider.

The bike received its warranty-required mile valve adjustment scheduled service from a shop in Avon NY before the of its sales/service business. Each season thereafter, I performed scheduled maintenance service the following products:
