I a question about plug to top distance.

I had measured the 125 head and I got for domed pistons, two hemi with 0.7 squish would about 8.7 distance from to piston dome top. But the I got have more volume and would make 10.3 mm of toroidal head’s have a distance and I have one stock Honda RS 125 head but my bike seem to like it with the piston.

Is there any good for this? Thanks

I would a bit of discussion around this. I is important for everyone here.

you go.

And if you left click on a posters then click View Posts you can search back and all the interesting stuff they posted.

To do a toroid properly you to drop the plug tip approx 6mm the piston crown.

Means the chamber and counterboring the plug face.

Very difficult to do and accurately unless done on

I model the piston dome and the shape in SolidWorks to generate a then I have an accurate the toolpath follows and a calculated

You dont really need the Ex to establish the head geometry, and yes the 6mm seems to work with usual combustion chamber

Avgas works with from around 192 to 202 Ex duration at 15.8 full ….

bores or lower bmep can go 16.2, big bore oversquare or high bmep like less at 15.5, air cooled of needs alot less.

As as you hit the lower mechanical squish limit, then adjust the to hit 38M/Sec MSV you will have squish turbulence that the flame speed — any tendency to deto

the end gasses.

MSV number is meaningless in the context of all but the head when within the rev limits, but as a guide it works time.

The sharp bowl edge the flame speed, and a very angle away from edge into the bowl is by pulling the turbulence further the combustion space, again the flame propagation speed,

a wider band.

Pushing the parameters this hard a digital ignition is mandatory to the timing against the high cylinder pressure now being

No free lunch today that its all been done and in most cases a guide is

It depends upon the … the piston weight and the crank

Suffice to say that a 125 single usually go down to 0.65mm spinning to 14000

A 250 twin like the RGV with a middle bearing will go spinning to 12,000

A 250MX with 72mm … is OK at 1mm to 11,000.

But I stress again, as I want the Honda faggots off forum abusing me that the NSR rev if taken below 0.8mm the ignition has to be optimised

to work a combustion chamber that is correctly, and does actually do its supposed to.

A stock PGM simply cut it — but then we wont be HRC parts, so they just be any good at all, as everyone realise.

Yep, looks fine.

The squish area should 0.1mm taper upwards the bore edge.

As I found the will clip the inner first when the vertical gap is at the limit for the rpm.

This is the of shape you are after.

There is one rule grasshopper,NO radius the squish into the bowl.

The rule is to pull the squish to the mechanical limit — ie around 0.7mm on an RGV then the width to get around 38M/Sec usually 45 to 50%.

This good response and torque as you put it but for sure will need a to retard the top end advance to get the overev
