FREE: Photos of your vintage motorcar or motorbike (Reston, VA)

Emerging digital motoring magazine seeks interesting cars and motorcycles for feature articles in the online magazine. A professional photographer will shoot your car or bike and interview you briefly about its history and details. The whole thing will take about an hour. In exchange, you’ll receive two high-res photographs of your vehicle to use in any way you want (personal use only.)

Dates flexible.

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A VEILED SALES EFFORT OR SCAM. You can see the concept of the project at www.autonovamag.com. If you’d like to be involved, contact us. No one will try to sell you anything, ever.

That’s not our style.

Although we will consider any interesting vehicle, we are particularly interested in vehicles from the 1950’s to the 1980’s, and, specifically, we are currently actively looking for the following vehicles:

– Alfa Romeo (all models)

– Early Porsche 911 (1977 and earlier)

– Porsche 914 and 914-6

– Any early Saab or Volvo

– Land Rover Series (88 and 109 versions)

– Early Ford Mustang

– Early VW Beetle, Squareback, Karmann Ghia, Bus, and other air cooled

– Unimog, Pinzgauer and other offbeat adventure vehicles

– BMW 2002, 1600, Bavaria, 3.0S, 3.0CS, or any E28 chassis

– Mercedes-Benz 230SL, 250SL, 280SL (pagoda) or anything W116 chassis or earlier

– Any early Lotus

– Any Citroen, Renault or Peugeot

– Datsun 510

– Series 1 and 2 Toyota Celica, Mazda RX2 and RX3 and other early Japanese cars

– All interesting hot rods and specials, new and old alike.

Motorcycles are also welcome, and we often feature custom cafe racers and vintage and classic bikes from BSA, Ducati, MV Agusta, Benelli, Triumph, Norton, Triton, Vincent, BMW, Moto Guzzi, and more. And scooters! Lambretta, early Vespa, etc.

The format is a brief interview with the owner about his/her background and the history of the vehicle, and a 30-40 minute photo shoot. The entire process can be completed in about an hour. Within ten days we’ll email you two selected high-res photos of your vehicle that you can have for your personal use. (No business or professional use, however. We retain the copyright for professional use.)

If your ride cool and different, we probably want to shoot it and interview you, so drop us a line and we’ll set it up!
