Any tips, tricks, or dos on this clever bike? I you’ve had nothing but praise for it the years, and that factored my recommendation that he give it consideration for purchase.

I love my I have two. Very on when they were sold here in ’08 I that this would be a ‘Modern’ adjunct to my much V-1000 I Convert. I shelled out and immediately I’d made the decision.

In fact I discovered it is such a great little I eschewed my Guzzis for my trip the US in 2011 and bought a GT with the fairing like the one pictured

Needless to say all the rough, tuff, hate the Mana. Its an automatic so it can’t be. Bike for a ‘Real It is also sub 1000cc, another on its man-card.

The great thing is the sort of tools who worry such … are the losers and I all the way to the end of the road.

The Mana is fugal, it is it is as close to ‘Maintenance Free’ as any vehicle you can get. Its also a lightweight tourer and in hindsight and I would probably of enjoyed our jaunt in the USA last summer if we’d taken the Mana than the Cali 1400!

to be aware of? Although the suspension of the GT is than that of the ‘Plain NA model it is still not brilliant. the NA all the GT’s have ABS which a lovely thing and riding my GT my mind completely about its on a bike BUT it means that if you to upgrade the forks you are limited to with the ‘Cheap and Cheerfuls’ it with or finding a take-off set of of an RSV-4!

The NA was much easier, I just got a set of and brakes off a late model and they slip right in. ABS you need the mount for the sensor up. Having said that my GT acceptably and can hold a line in something my NA never did in Stock With the GT the back shock is fairly drac but at least it has adjustment by knob rather collar.

That helps. My NA has a Hyperpro adjustable on the back though and with the forks allows me to eat on 600 ‘Supersports’ for breakfast on the Clyde even when luggaged up.

As far as is concerned the only warning I give is if you get the warning triangle on and the word ‘Gear’ appear at the of the dash it is because the front hub has most likely not been adequately at the factory. This a host of problems, (Visit the specific site on the AF-1 there are lots of listed

It seems prevalent on MY2009 bikes

Really though they are bulletproof, super smooth to the point of being anodyne and for a not powerful bike can be an astonishing of fun. My GT will shortly be Los Angeles to take up residence in its new in New Zealand. As I say its a great little tourer that handles tar and dirt with aplomb, (I did the Dugway on the GT and got a speeding ticket for on the freeway in Ohio in 2011!)

Why they aren’t a zillion more popular I can’t out? It is the perfect compliment to my which Jude won’t on because its a torture rack for a If only I could justify a Tuono V-4 my motorcycling Nirvanha of been reached but if I had one of those be … or in gaol in a week!

the GT is a great bike. As I say with spend money on brakes and and enjoy the engine for what it is. stays in ‘Touring’ mode 95% of the but ‘Sport’ and ‘Sport Gear’ are fun to play with. ‘Rain’ never gets used on the Manas.

There are aftermarket pipes but the CVT makes them sound unless you’re in ‘Sport while some owners magnificent improvements in performance, (Oh there goes another of pigs! Looks like headed to the same place the with 120 RWHP Grisos are to!) I really like the quiet and the comfort of the Mana, the GT. I’ve done an 800 mile day on my GT and got off human.

Few bikes you can say that

If you want luggage the factory are good and you can get Givi bags the as the much more expensive badged ones. My GT also has a Chinese top-box from Few bikes have the carrying of a Mana.
