Venier Customs are created through the art direction of Venier and builds are brought reality through the hands of mechanics. Stefano the owner and head designer of the started to modify and drive from an early age, customizing whatever motorcycle or he was driving.

We interviewed him to find out about how it all started and why customizing to him is like Christmas time.

1. was the first time you ever a motorcycle or scooter?

I was 8 years my dad used to take me around on a 50 Special and let me ride it. After a few mopeds I think that the first motorcycle that I was a KTM 250CC when I was 13 years It was real fun.

2. How has growing up riding scooters you to create custom motorcycles

I wouldn’t do what I do today if I start customizing motorcycles at an early age. My friends and I creating mopeds that go as fast as missiles on the country in the Friuli area in Italy and we moved on to the dirt bikes. where it all started for real.

3. When did you your first motorcycle? How did you it?

My first designs are dated way to my moped days, but my first special bike was created one year ago, and it made the of Iron Air right away. It was a V35C. My friend Dario a Moto Guzzi 1000SP Barbacane, a beautiful bike, the Diabola came out it was everywhere.

4. How has production design degree you with your work and creation process?

Well, my design degree helped me a It helped me understand proportions, and colors. I’m applying what I and trying to build the perfect Front view of the Diabola

5. What’s your favorite that you ever designed?

is something that is hard to but you never forget your love, so I’d say the Diabola V35C.

6. What’s the design process Do you sketch first and then put Photoshop or vice versa?

I decide what type of I want to build. Then, I for a bike in the market so I can make it When I buy the bike, I start to it by removing fenders, tank, I leave the forks, motor and basically a … bike.

I start to make CAD files for the if needed and then send to production. Once I buy all the parts I I start to build the bike. we have the mock ups we can start the bike and this is when the concept comes to life and the bikes you see.

7. What’s your favorite about customizing motorcycles?

I customize bikes I feel Giotto Bizzarrini or a kid in a toy room, custom work is like time. This is the best way I can you understand how I feel when we and when I see the bike complete for the time.

8. What part of the do you enjoy customizing the most?

The is the biggest challenge and is what the difference. The Corsaiola, originally a Guzzi V75 (1989)

9. What’s favorite place to ride?

The country side for sure, a magic place. From to south, east to west.

10. What do you sell in your in Italy?

Right now the bike is just a place where we the bikes; we have a partnership the Icons Store in the heart of in the Veneto area. The Tractor originally a Moto Guzzi NTX

11. How is it to live and work in Brooklyn?

12. If you weren’t customizing motorcycles would you be doing?

Actually, my company is Minimal USA. we do custom furniture. I can’t of any other jobs I could do the furniture and custom bikes. I’m lucky because I love I do.
