V7 Classic with Norman “M” Bar Conversion

So I have been for more aggressive handlebars to put on my V7  The stock ones nice but I wanted a better and also a little more on the front tires.  My Parilla 250 has aggressive clip-ons that are for such a light bike; for the V7C I that something that was a more upright but lower stock might be the ticket.

I on a few forums, and many chimed in and the Laverda “Jota” replica available from numerous on the web.  They are fabulous setups, but I wanted to see exactly how I could spend and actually get really decent bars. other choices were neck” styles, and I did consider and finally dropped them I’d have to take the triple apart to get them on the forks. within my mechanical skills.

Moto V7 Classic – 20,010 Miles and for some Mods

Where has gone?  I haven’t written about my V7 Classic in more a year.  I guess life and the of life kinda get in the way, just actually getting to business and writing something out can a little mental effort.

A long commute for 18 months.

I took a as an Enterprise Architect Consultant in mid 2010, and started an 18 month period of living in an apartment in Pointe Park, MI, for 4 nights a  Weekends were spent at after making the 300 mile back to my home in Oak Park, IL.

I work around May 1 2010, until the riding season in Mid October, I never drove a car in  Most of the commutes were on the V7 Classic, so I was making two 300 mile a week on the bike, and then 30 a day commuting, along with very fun trips, which get to in a bit.

Moto Guzzi V7 Classic – ahhh, I mean, 11,000 report!

10,000 miles in the UP

Rockerbox for 2010 was planned the day as the Wisconsin Moto Guzzi near Mineral Point, 40 miles from Dubuque in the southwestern part of the state. negotiations with my lovely I decided to leave Detroit Thursday, and ride up to Mackinac with the intent of crossing the Bridge and riding down the UP to the Rally – a total of 731 miles.

I left Detroit with 9500 miles on the odometer, and 10,000 miles just of the Wisconsin border on Saturday in the Peninsula of Michigan. I thought it that I was on new road, riding for but pleasure and cruising at 80mph a care in the world. By 10,005 I had explored the top speed of the bike on a empty straight.

I arrived at the rally without I want to thank everyone met me when I got there, and those complimented me on my writing, as I think telling stories to people is about the best thing you can do, and if like them and tell it’s just extra on the pie for me.

11,000 miles

I spent the 24 hours at home uneventfully my family and preparing to ride up to Detroit late Sunday. And so I also in an unevenful manner. I into my apartment in Grosse at 11pm, too tired to note the The nexts morning I parked at looking down at my odometer at miles.

In except for a kick stand and one 6000 mile maintenance, the V7 has been the same. Nothing but grins and good times. It used a drop of oil, not one in the engine, and I’ve only had to the tires with Pirelli Demons (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. ) and inner sidestand spring a stainless steel one after I fault in the metallurgy (Moose M7712). Other than I have enjoyed this more than I thought I and I had high expectations .
