People say that either a Harley person or not, and if I must fall on one or the other of the divide then simple—I’m not. An Electra from a fall tour years ago was my first Harley and compared to the BMW and Honda on the trip it antiquated. The chassis flexed cornering at just a moderate and what the engine lacked in it compensated for by squirming excitedly on its mounts.

Next came a Softail that looked so to a 1950s Panhead that it your eyes water. But the were poor and the fork freely and made loud noises.
