Alternator A 55 amp Alternative

Thanks to Brunner for sending me this in a private communication. Tim learned this set up from a gentleman Tord in Sweden. In Tord’s own

I attach a couple of pictures who in pictures a modification to a Bosch 55 alternator, the three lights beam-flashes now.

The fix is a easy way to do, dismantle the front cover and a ring ( i can give you the measurement) the cover in a mill or turn it in a to 110 mm I think it was. then a new thread holes, Then the must modified the, I remember what it was. But I can you the exact drawing on the job if you want. it was my who did the job last summer. And it works And NO the plastic cover DOES NOT forward, it depends on that he the ring a little bit backward so it was of materials to

turn away and lot of materials to dip the alternator in.

I attached more pictures to for you, maybe you understand (my isn’t so good)

As you see the Bosch alternator shaft must away some materials, a cone that match as in a length. It must match the alternator. and the surrounded alternator in the cover, about some that I don’t remember, but if you to know, don’t hesitate to me in an week or something, then I heard with my father the right way to do. Then maybe you can let do it in a factory. /Tord
