Changing the cambelt is probably the difficult part of servicing one of modular v-twins. Paul Paul Morgan-Knight, Mark and Martin Gelder show how done using high shed-o-vision video and greasy photography.

The Moto Morini workshop manual, or the Blue as it’s more widely recommends changing the toothed camshaft drive belt on the 250, 350 and 500cc modular bikes every 5,000 or three years, whichever sooner. However, belt is not a job that many motorcyclists be familiar with, and we suspect most owners either get a to do the belt swap for them, or ignore the job altogether.
