Instead of elaborating or defending it, he just gets pissed and does the usual – I have sold over 50 classics and not one of them have complained yet.

He continued to ignore me for the rest of my time at the showroom.

The company TD vehicle was the same I drove the last time. Its now at around 4000 kms. The bike vibrates like, as someone mentioned, Shakiras A**. Right from 0 – 80 any gear any speed. Its always vibrating so badly that I was scared to push it above 80.

Only in nuetral did it seem right.

Secondly something is gone wrong with the wiring. I was trying to park the bike after the TD and took slow full left. The engine died.

Started it again, as the bike is stationary, turned the handle bar full left and it died again. Thrice in total.

Third thing I noticed was, when you engage the clutch and upshift, there is a sudden drop in power and then it just rockets up. So you are left confused, at first for the decrease in power, then followed by the sudden surge. My hands were hurting as I was trying to hold on to the damn handlebars for dear life.

I was sure I would have fallen off on the single seater.

I found the brakes a tad on the softer side. Did not find anything wrong with the paint quality on the TD and showroom vehicles. No rust anywhere either.

And yes finally this time I did notice that I am not actually sitting anywhere proper on the seat. It was like the crotch almost on the fuel tank. I tried to push myself back, but the bloody thing accelerates so hard that I was afraid to sit so far back.

I explained to the guys about the above problems. The sales guy said that they are struggling with one mechanic and the TD vehicle has never been through a full or proper service. Which is why there are so many faults.

Overall I had so much fun that I could’nt process anything more. They are promising to try hard to deliver this month, or maybe next.

Quality of a test bike is now way to judge the actual product. RE has come up with a lot of upgrades including Airbox design and swing arm. Now the rear of the bike is more planted.

The TD bikes are ripped and raped by test drives done by different ppl with diff riding style, no running in. I saw a guy test ride it like it was a RX100. (Red-lining every gear). I suggest you get feedbacks from actual owners and not from some test bike which has done 4000km.
