2012 Sherco ST 2.9

Sherco was lucky enough to be in possession of the new Sherco 290cc during Week. The 2 … 290cc just in time for us to pick it up on our way Canberra on the way to South Australia. The factory in Spain had managed to get it off the line and on the boat before closed for the annual European holidays so it would be here in to show case at the Australian

For those of you who saw it at the Australian Championships you may have it was without graphics. This was due to the not having the new graphics finished to shipping the bike. We had many of sitting in the paddock at the South Championships drooling over it for the practice ground to open and the sleek whiteness really to grow on us.

Not to mention the bling triple clamps, wheels and linkages.

Once the practice was open for business, we swung a leg the new Sherco and were impressed away. There are many changes to the 2012 model make huge improvements. One of the noticeable changes is the new Tech 3

The Tech 3 suspension, in particular the suspension felt great and we are it will just get better as it in.

The new air box and cone shaped air filter doesn’t get any easier to access for Completely tool free and all of about 5 seconds (no joke.)

very noticeable change to the model is the new muffler design. the gasses now coming out the back will prevent the exhaust blocked off by the rider’s leg in certain positions. The inline fuel tap is a minor change but will a big difference especially when the bike.

It also has a reserve on it. The motor is the same as the 2011 and it felt strong and responsive. was also helped by the ST 2.9 now coming with a Keihin 28mm slide carburetor.

Kaitlyn and Amanda Join Sherco Racing

Racing welcomes Kaitlyn and Cummins to the team.

With an start to the 2011 Moto-Trials so far, things are only to get better for Kaitlyn and Amanda The girls have upsized Sherco 80’s and have now delivery of a 2011 Sherco each.

This is Kaitlyn and first season competing in the Moto-Trials Championship series and just two rounds it is fair to that these girls be hard to beat.

Round 1 was in Murringo in March and they first and second in the Junior 200cc class. In round 2 at their home ground Park, Kaitlyn again the win with Amanda not far behind in So after just two of the five the sisters are one, two on the leader

Sherco Racing wishes Kaitlyn and Amanda Cummins all the for the remainder of the 2011 Moto-Trials aboard their new Sherco With the support of Moto and Sherco Racing we are sure skills will  continue to improve and you be seeing both Kaitlyn and on the podiums in the future.

Pre-Season Training with Boniface

Jarad on the 2011 215cc

Jarad has had his 2011 125 for only a few weeks now, but is very comfortable on it. Jarad is hard in preparation for the 2011 season which kicks off for him on 20 with the first round of the Motorcycle Club Championships to be at Mt Kembla.  The following weekend see Jarad contest the first of the NSW Moto-Trials Championships where he be joined by his Sherco Racing mates Ailsa Anderson, Lonie and Michelle Coleman.

In Jarad claimed the Wollongong Club C Moto-trials Championship and the NSW Junior Moto-Trials Championship and I know he is to make it two in a row.

With the round of the  NSW Moto-Trials just 2 weeks after the round, it is a full on start to the are well under way and I’m sure you see from the photos that is looking really good on the 125. When speaking to he was excited and really happy the bike.

 After only a few days is the text message Team Toby recieved from  ”I rode the Sherco again and the bike just keeps better and better! The bike is SO   :p Best bike ever!”

Racing are pleased to welcome tyres on board this year as as having contiuned support Motorex oils, Sign and Moto Central.

Jarad Boniface With Sherco Racing

Racing is pleased to announce NSW Under 200cc Champion Boniface has signed with Racing for the 2011 season.

We Jarad all the best in the development of his career and we know he has the right to continually improve and achieve things in the future with the of Sherco Racing.

In 2010 conducted a thorough renovation of new trials models, introducing a with new concepts and ideas was the beginning of an entirely new way forward in design.

The new 2011 Sherco models are a clear example of but they have now moved the forward,  having built on the achieved after a year in the demanding competitions with top riders.
