2005 Suzuki C90 the Dragon

By Cole(Owner), Jun. 13,

I’m an owner of the 2005 Suzuki and I just returned from a to the “Tail of the Dragon” in Deals NC. I live in Chicago, IL, so the trip to the was really long, and our group some seriously inclement on our ride back home. All in the ride wasn’t for the fai. nt of and yet despite it all, my C90 handled like a champ.

I rode a large array of different including two Goldwings, an ElectraGlide an FLHTCUI Ultra Classic, a Sportster, a StreetGlide, a Road an Aero, and an R1. All of the bikes rode champs, but I can only speak to the and handling of the C90, so this is I’ll focus on.

The wide tires, comfortable and low center-of-gravity allowed the C90 to handle a champ. I was on the bike for an average of per day, for six days. I added an 2.0 gallon GMan fuel year, so my bike never ran low on first.

As a matter of fact, there at least a couple of times I would simply forgo ups at designated stops, because I didn’t need the additional

The ‘twisties’ the Dragon dealt to me no match for my C90. It handled a champ, and the stock suspension just right around the While we were down we also visited Mt.

Mitchell, is the highest point in the Appalachian Despite this, my bike needed any fuel map adjustments and very nicely.

On our drive to Chicago, we hit some seriously rain, but we all powered onward. We almost non-stop from Forge, TN to Indianapolis, IN at a decent and the C90 felt great. There a couple of times that I to stretch out during the ride, but this, the stock C90 seat great.

As I approached home, I did notice misfiring going on in the C90, but was right after a fuel The gas had Ethanol in it, so I presume that had something to do with it. While I home, I flipped the switch dumped the contents of the GMan reserve into the primary, and immediately improved.

The fuel in the GMan tank came from an earlier stop, so that’s why I came to the that the fuel from our stop (the fuel Ethanol) may have caused the problem.

Regardless, yesterday I the C90 into the dealership for a full which was definitely overdue. As an of the C90, I have to say that I’m impressed with it. I have about 10,000 miles on it, and never let me down.

I love it and look forward to achieving an Butt Award on it later summer. I definitely recommend powerhouse of a bike to anyone…it’s reliable, and it never seems to run out of in any gear.

If you buy this bike, definitely on doing a pair valve job to it, buy a Commander, and definitely buy an extended fuel cell. For longer riding, buy some bags, a and some highway pegs. you install these after-market you will probably never to get rid of this bike. I’ve added things like a lock, a Garmin Zumo 550 GPS and a Cardo Scala Rider Q2 headset.

I can make and answer phone while riding, get turn-by-turn listen to my music, and communicate the other riders in my pack. I this bike!
