Suzuki GS comes with various new features like long seating arrangement, any gear starting, extra weight at handle bar for less vibration, 5 gear nad ‘Seesaw’ type pedal for smoother riding, wider carriage space, etc. Its robust engine has aluminum cylinder and fins for super cooling. he Suzuki GS150R has to compete with the likes of Bajaj Pulsar, Bajaj Discover, TVS Apache, Hero Honda Hunk, Honda Unicorn. Suzuki GS150R is really huge bike compared to other bikes in same segment.

It has really good height, so good that the pillion can have first-floor-like-comfort! Just kidding, what i mean to say is, it is for youngsters and elder might find it difficult to use it on rear seat.

Suzuki GS 150R is available in single variant only. Suzuki GS which is powered by 150cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled petrol engine with five speed manual transmission gearbox and offers mileage of approx 60 KMPL.


Suzuki GS 150Rcomes loaded with a 150cc power train which is configured with 4 stroke, air cooled, single cylinder, OHC. This compact but powerful engine produces a 13.8 bhp of peak power at 8500 rpm and 13.4 Nm of peak torque 6000 rpm. In order to make sure maximum power uses, it is incorporated with 6 speed manual gearbox.


Suzuki has made massive efforts in giving the Suzuki GS 150 R a unique look. The bike is designed with clear thought and the result of which is amazing. The bike looks very attractive both from the front side as well as from the rear side. The headlamp clusters is equipped in the Suzuki GS 150 R are very similar to GSX R which gives very special look to the bike.

The owl shape of the headlamp cluster is eye-catchy and also leaves it first notice. The ear shaped positioning lights also give that extra touch of finishing to the bike. The fuel tank design of the Suzuki GS150R is just amazing with stunning graphics at it. It can hold a maximum fuel of 15.5 liters. The black tinted wind screen is also placed above the headlamp cluster of the Suzuki GS 150 R and looks very stunning.

The front blinkers are V shape and are horizontally displayed just beside the mask’s ends. The key shaped digital cum analogue instrument panel is placed just behind the headlamp cluster of Suzuki GS 150 R. The instrument cluster used in the Suzuki GS 150 R is very advanced in the segment of 150 cc bikes.

Engine Capacity and Performance

Suzuki GS comes loaded with a 150cc power train which is configured with 4 stroke, air cooled, single cylinder, OHC. This Suzuki engine churns out 13.8 bhp of peak power at 8500 rpm and 13.4 Nm of peak torque 6000 rpm. The higher torque is achieved through extra torque performance (XTP).

The 4 stroke engine of Suzuki GS is endowed with 6 Speed Transmission which ensures smoother and easier shifting of gears and also helps in minimizing the vibrations and noise at high speed. Suzuki GS150R can cross the barrier of 0-60 kms in just a span of 5.5 seconds. The bike can even cross 0-100 kms in just 17.69 seconds with a top speed of 105.8 kmph. It has a fuel tank of 15.5 liters

The Suzuki GS 150 R is packed with broad wheels and tyres that make the look of the bike very sporty and robust. The smart alloy wheel with 5 spoke is the icing on the cake. The wheel size for both the wheels are 18 inch each. There is a welcoming change in Suzuki GS that is rear tuff-up tube which instills confidence in you as it reduces chances of puncture remarkably.

The tyres present in the Suzuki GS 150 R are tubeless tyres for comfortable ride. The size of the front tyre is 2.75 18 42 P and for the rear tyre is 100/90-18 M/C 56 P. The broad and big tyre size of the Suzuki GS 150 R is very efficient in controlling the bike in case of off-roading and also reduces the rate of skidding.

Braking and Handling

The Suzuki GS 150 R is bestowed with sound and dynamic braking system. The bike is endowed with dual hydraulic disc brake at the front wheel and drum brake at the rear wheel. The disc brake present in the Suzuki GS 150 R ensures quick and instant braking even at shorter distance and easy deceleration of the bike.
