Bought my 2008 650 Naked in December from the local for £2200, for my daily commute work, as well as the odd weekend Love it to bits and reckon more fun than my last albeit not quite as fast. Was about 42-45 mpg around however a change in job means I now a 45mile motorway commute, and am now 60-65 mpg at an average (indicated)

Plan to change to a 17tooth sprocket, so will hopefully 70mpg without ruining the too much. It can currently pull in 4th, so reckon there is to increase the gearing a bit

Bought a 2007 … of this bike with miles on the clock a few months My first big bike after a 125cc for a few months. Absolutely this machine.

It responds to you want it to do without complaint, quick and easy to manoeuvre and fun for a first big bike. I use this to to work every day, a 50 round-trip, and am getting between 50 and 60 mpg on which for such a quick is great. I personally don’t too much experience of other but from my perspective this is a bike to start off your career, I couldn’t be happier the machine and would highly to any new rider.

Good bike, shocking quality!

Bought mine new 07, 14000 miles on it now, daily on a 33 mile round

Rust appearing in most centre stand has to be pushed up manually as no longer springs up, I only have to look at the for another scratch to appear, light doesn’t always on, the rear brake pedal up 3 times last winter time had to be freed with ( this is to be expected according to a mechanic! ). and today while the bike the paint on the rear literally peeled off in front of my

Also be aware if you plan on high mileage, the servicing are astronomical and need doing 4000 miles. It is cheaper to my car (Citroen C4) at a main dealer it is to service the Bandit at a Suzuki

Tyres last around miles, and the original chain just under 12000 by the skin of it’s teeth! I was at the 8000 mile service it was on way out.

On the plus side, reliability has faultless, the engine will still be running when else has fallen apart!

To sum up, the is a fine bike for warm riders, but if you are looking for an all year commuter, stay well
