The T20 was equipped a 247 cc two-… powerplant, which that oil needed to be mixed gasoline prior to injection the cylinder. Simple two-… simply achieved this by the user to combine oil and gas together (a known as pre-mix) before the fuel tank. However, in an system like the T20, was expected to operate for longer at higher RPMs, this have been unsuitable.

An excess amount of oil would be using pre-mix under conditions, resulting in reduced and dirtier emissions, which in would cause the exhaust to become laden with further reducing performance. The T20 this problem by incorporating a oil injection system known as which consists of an engine-driven oil coupled to the throttle, which is to provide the proper amount of oil at the current RPM and throttle opening.

The draws clean oil from a oil tank, and pumps it through into the crankcase, where it is into the engine from a located between the intake and the cylinder. A separate oil injection is also provided for the main and big end rod bearings of the crankshaft. This injection made the Posi-Force far superior to the competitions’ single per cylinder systems.

Suzuki would continue to use system on many of their motorcycle designs for many
