2009 Suzuki GSX-R

In India, Suzuki launched highly publicized 150cc for India, the Suzuki GS 150R that it’s been from the GSX-R 1000. But seeing the difference between the machines, I couldn’t stop from writing about the Suzuki GSX-R 1000.

The focus for the 2009 Suzuki is the re-designed engine which at maximizing combustion efficiency more torque and power various rpm range which improves the throttle response and exhaust emissions.

As with of the new releases for the year 2009, the Suzuki GSX-R engine is a tad shorter from front to allowing engineers to shorten the and stretch the swing arm for better on the race track.

By re-designing the combustion chamber, the engineers have been to the compression to 12.8:1 as compared to previously.

As seen in the 2009 YZF R1. Suzuki has also provided the Drive Mode Selector system to allow the rider to from three available injection and ignition system in order to adjust power to suit personal preference. By a button located on the left bar control module, the rider can switch between the three maps designated as A, B and C on the instrumentation

The Head Lamp and the Tail of the GS 150 are definitely inspired!!

The new aluminium swing arm is constructed using three castings and is arched to room for the dual titanium to the attached tightly on each of the bike.

The Steering Damper is controlled by the ECM which monitors the speed and adjust to the required force.

The bike also features floating 310mm drilled with radial mount proven mono-block forged alloy front brake

The new sculpted fuel tank is now but maintains it’s 17.5l

The multi-reflector head light a new look and with vertically high and low beam halogen placed centrally between lights on each side.

The rear indicators and brake LED are with the seat cowls.

The panel also acted as the source for the GS 150

The all new instrumentation cluster is around an analog tachometer by an elegant silver finish with an adjacent digital The instrumentation panel now also a programmable engine RPM indicator marked by four LEDs.

The combination is pretty cool!!

though the improvements in the engine are revolutionary (like the 2009 YZF R1 has cross-plane engine firing ), and are chances that it faces competition from the likes of Aprilia RSV4. but still the Suzuki GSX-R 1000 is one of a racing machine.

But for me as a bike enthusiast the bigger is, are we kid enough that big international manufacturers hand us over saying that it’s from a bigger and more machine? I think not. The market does have the to imbibe better technology.

In times only Yamaha has shown enthusiasm toward better technology in the country. the other biggies should some queues from India.
