I finally got around to ordering the new rear tire for my daughter’s Savage. It was delivered via UPS on Monday.

Why do I feel stoopid?

Take a at the rear wheel rim.

It is a rim. Which means of (Unless you ride a ‘pensive that there are supposed to be inside of the tires! And, what I have read, and tubeless tires should not go

Funny thing though, the is true for the front wheel/tire as well. There is a tubeless mounted on a tube style

I am going to make a guess there have only two tire changes on this The mechanical odometer reads, miles. Definitely only two on the front of the bike!

I decided to put a stop on mounting up the tire until I could things through for a bit.

because I had set time aside to on the old Savage, and I was at a (frustrated) standstill, I to do something that made me productive.

Welding does that for me.

So, I a hammer.

I grabbed a piece of 1 1/4 round stock, and a piece of steel tubing from my old off of my bike, (Dorzok, are you reading and welded the two together.
