2009 Kawasaki ER-6n November 16, 2009 Posted in 2009 Bike Tests | Comments: 0 (Editor’s note: Wayne’s time with the ER-6n coincided perfectly with the encroachment of wildfires into the countryside around L.A. Unfortunately this limited actual riding time with the bike thereby resulting in an abreviated article. We will be working on a plan to get more seat time on a 2010 ER-6n this coming year. Kenn) For many years, street fighters have always appealed to me not only because of their naked sexy looks (or what I refer to as a bike with a G-String), but also the fact that they can be ridden aggressively just like your typical GSXR or CBR but are generally more comfortable. When I was ...

2006 Kawasaki ER-6n: First Ride Antoni’s report on the ER-6n intro follows. Be sure to see our earlier reports on this new Kawasaki here and here. Now, Antoni’s report: On Kawasaki’s invitation, we arrived in Austria to see and ride the recently announced ER-6n — a bike designed by Kawasaki to appeal to virtually every rider skill level, male and female. Entering the hotel in Salzburg, we see the somewhat radically-styled ER-6n in the flesh for the first time, and it is pleasing to look at. It would be the next morning before we could decide whether it was just as pleasing to ride. In the meantime, our gracious hosts showed us some of the sights of Salzburg, and then made a presentation ...

2009 Kawasaki ER-6n Test Ride: Sporty Standard Bike Under $7000 Newcomers to motorcycling frequently face a range of sportbikes that are simply beyond their capabilities. We’re naturally attracted to the edgiest sportbikes-the ones that look menacingly tough. But many of these bikes are just track-ready as they appear, posing a real challenge to riders who aren’t prepared for two-wheeled machines with power-to-weight ratios beyond those of any supercar. Kawasaki, in addition to offering the beginner-friendly Kawasaki Ninja 250R. has introduced the ER-6n, an angular naked bike that’s an approachable happy medium between novice and advanced. Its styling suggests speed, yet its ...

2009 Kawasaki ER-6n vs. 2009 Suzuki Gladius – Comparison Test Completing the Triple Play with a pair of all-around Twins. Photography by Jeff Allen All good things come in threes, right? Blondes, brunettes and redheads. Detroit’s Big Three (well, not so much these days). Tic Tac Toe. Ready, set, go! Yadda, yadda, yadda. Kawasaki and Suzuki… Come again? Think about it: two Twins, each engine powering a trio of entry-level machines targeting the popular sport, adventure and, now, naked market segments. While Kawasaki’s fully faired Ninja 650R and stilt-legged Versys have been available stateside for some time, the stripped ER-6n is brand-new to the U.S. this year. Ditto Suzuki’s ...

2010 Kawasaki ER-6n

2010 Kawasaki ER-6n The U.S. motorcycle market is determinedly recreational. Weekend riders are in the vast majority, with just a few daily commuters taking advantage of a motorcycle’s economical use of resources and space. The industry undoubtedly wishes it were not so, and they are hoping to persuade the public that daily motorcycle use (where the climate permits) is a smart idea. When that happens, maybe more riders will take advantage of the extraordinary benefits of bikes like Kawasaki’s ER-6n. Here’s a machine that doesn’t cost much ($6,699), is easy to ride, performs to almost everyone’s expectations, and handles with real panache. And did we mention that its 649cc parallel ...

But not necessarily the riders kept satisfied with the factory default state. They do modifications on their bikes, but not a few who did not add to either modify instead become bad. REVIEW: 2012 Kawasaki ER-6n – Best Bang For Your Buck (RM33,289.00) data-trigger=hover class=pop-blog-ads Used 1997 Kawasaki VN500 data-trigger=hover class=pop-blog-ads The ER-6n was designed with one thing in mind – easy riding. The parallel-twin powertrain produces just enough amount of power and torque for rookies to handle. The low and short dimensions of the bike contributes to its brilliant weight distribution, hence its agility and nimbleness. Some even said its a child’s play. Nowadays, most local driving institutions provide ER-6n for B license class. I signed up for the license at a driving institution in Shah Alam few months ago, where they had two units  ER-6n. LSL shows Kawasaki how the ER-6n SHOULD look The Biker Gene

LSL shows Kawasaki how the ER-6n SHOULD look Just last weekend, I had my first ride of a friend’s stock Kawasaki ER-6n, and it confirmed my high expectations from this cheap naked hooligan bike. You’d have to say, though, that it’s one of the uglier bikes out there – ...
