GP’s Classic Steel #63: 2005 Suzuki RM250 PulpMX

Poll If you look up the word “two-…” in a dictionary, this is the machine you should see. The 2005 RM250 snapped to attention at the slightest touch of the throttle and ripped through the powerband at warp speed. It was the exact antithesis of the new wave of thumpers taking over the sport. The King of zing. After decades of playing second fiddle in the power sweepstakes, Suzuki finally hit the sweet spot in 2005. The 249cc mill barked from the first twist of the throttle and kept on pulling until the cows came home. It was quicker revving and less smooth than the electric Yamaha, but just as effective on the track. In late 2004, Suzuki pulled the coup of the century by snagging ...

Cons: If you plan on hauling things, get something bigger The Bottom Line: The Suzuki Quadrunner 250 is the best four wheeler in it’s class. I decided it was time to look into getting a four wheeler before hunting season started, and I began by researching the different makes and models online. I looked at every single brand that is available where I live, including Honda, Polaris, Kawasaki, Yamaha, and Suzuki. After comparing prices and reading countless reviews, I decided to go with the 2002 Suzuki Ozark 250 Quadrunner. Here#146s why. Suzuki made this 250 model in order to compete with everyone else, and they made it just a little better than everyone else. Compared to other 250 ...

Reader’s Ride: Suzuki Inazuma The 2013 Bike of the Year finalists are out and Dave Fall revealed the 15 bikes on the list. Wheels 24 readers have written in and shared their choices on who should be crowned as the winner. It’s also inspired Wheels 24 reader MARIUS VOSLOO to write in and shares his love for his Suzuki B-King and the baby Inazuma. He has this to say: I am the proud owner of a badass Suzuki B-King, the problem is that it is so expensive to maintain that I had to buy a dedicated commuter bike to survive financially. On the B-King I can’t achieve more than 1000km on its rear tyre. The chain, sprockets and brake pads need replacement every 2000km. I managed ...

J ust before the start of the 1970 Grand-Prix series for the world motocross championship, Suzuki team manager Ishikawa was asked if the 250cc Suzuki RH70 could take the title. “Without fail”, he answered. It was a bold prediction but Ishikawa’s confidence was not misplaced. Very few machines have so completely dominated a motocross season like the RH70 did in 1970. By the end of June that year, after taking 7 of the first eight races, Suzuki had the Maker’s Cup clinched-this with 4 more Grand-Prix’s to go through September ...

Suzuki TU250 — webBikeWorld

Suzuki TU250 The Powersports Dealer Expo is all about accessories, clothing, helmets. and anything else a dealer can sell, other than motorcycles. For the most part, the only motorcycles at the show are there to display accessories. Motorcycle manufacturer displays are very rare. This year, as I was walking by their booth, the TU250 caught my eye. My mind was still in wayback mode after taking in the Fulmer Helmets retro display. and here I stumble upon this beautiful little bike that looks for all the world like 1969 all over again. Beautiful windscreen and seat; who makes them? Are they prototypes only for the bike’s introduction? GET YOUR GEAR With This Link to BMG and Help Support ...

Suzuki Ozark Review

Product Review Suzuki Ozark 250 Quadrunner Purchased October 2003 Written October 2004 I knew very little about 4 wheelers when I purchased the Ozark. Naturally, I had researched it the best I could and it seemed the logical choice. My Ozark is a 2003, for the record. It has a different front suspension than the competition and from everything I could read on it, folks liked the front suspension better. The 250 class rating came closer to matching the actual displacement on the Ozark. In other words, it has the biggest engine in it’s class. Shifting into reverse is simpler on the Ozark than the Yamaha but I don’t remember on the Kawasaki. The Ozark doesn’t look like ...
