Scambler, Bonneville, 900, Boulevard C50?

I’ve been lurking for awhile, and this is my first Be gentle.

I’ve been of buying a bike again a long time away. really drawn to the Scrambler, and a bit so to the Bonneville. However, my more side has me also considering the Vulcan 900 Classic, Kawasaki 900 Custom, and the Suzuki Boulevard C50 (a 805 cc

The Kawasaki and Suzuki seem to be affordable, particularly for what you get for money.

My question concerns quickness, and speed versus The Scrambler and Bonneville have 865 cc (though I understand they are differently and have different curves). They both 451 lbs dry.

The Kawasakis obviously 900 cc engines. The Vulcan classic 558 lbs dry, while the Vulcan weighs 549 lbs dry.

The Suzuki Boulevard C50 has an 805 cc engine and 542 lbs dry.

Looking at these and seeing that Scrambler and weigh about 100 lbs less the Kawasaki’s and Suzuki, it would that the Triumph bikes do quite well re: quickness, power for two-up riding, given their weight. have a comparable engine but 100 lbs less weight.

However, that is not for some, irrational reason, my impression. My is that the Triumph bikes are under-powered compared to the Kawasaki and the Suzuki Boulevard even into consideration that that they weigh I’ve now read a *lot* of and forum posts, and have seen anyone complain the Vulcans are underpowered.

Very few complain about the power of the Boulevard. However, it seems here and elsewhere people are about the power of the Bonneville, and more so the Scrambler.

Is my impression correct that the and Bonneville are relatively underpowered, considering that the weigh 100 lbs than the Kawasaki and Suzuki That the latter would be and perhaps much better, for riding, freeway two-up and passing that big truck on the uphill road? If so why?

Is it the engines? EFI vs. carbs?

Don’t get me wrong. I really the look and feel of the Scambler again, less so the Bonneville. But I am concerned about paying for better looks but less

Also, is there a rack or for having saddlebags or luggage on sides of a Scambler if need be? I I saw somebody mention something that here, but can’t the thread.
