Development [ edit ]

Triumph the first new Bonneville for 15 years, the 790. at the Munich Motorcycle in September 2000, with a (48cuin) 360° crankshaft engine. [ 2 ] The T100 Bonneville, by John Mockett and David was launched as an uprated version with the 790cc engine, and 2005 with the 865cc introduced on the 2004 Thruxton, and to all Bonnevilles from 2007. The comes from the top speed of (160km/h) and it is sold as part of Modern classics range.

100th Anniversary Limited [ edit ]

2002 was the 100th anniversary of motorcycles (1902 was first for Triumph) and for this special Triumph planned to produce a number of centennial Bonneville in a Lucifer orange and silver scheme. But on 15 March 2002, in the midst of preparing for its anniversary, its factory was destroyed by fire, most of its manufacturing capacity.

a handful of centennial edition were produced in March before the fire, making very rare. The remaining run of centennial edition T100s actually 2003 models were built after the was repaired from the fire these remaining T100s had to be year models as it was after 2002 (into the 2003 production year) before started again.

Even combining the 2002 and bikes produced, there only a few of these first-year T100 bikes manufactured. exact numbers were not the factory had promoted a limited run of 500 units.

Paul Smith series [ edit ]

In 2006, Paul Smith personally a signature series. Nine Bonneville T100’s were with one off paint schemes and for display and promotion in Paul designer shops. Although were for sale through Smith shops only, two of the designs, the Multi-Union and Live were put into limited with fifty of each were produced. Each was individually numbered and authenticated a certificate, signed by Paul and John Bloor. [ 5 ]

Triumph Bonneville SE [ edit ]

at the Triumph dealer conference in 2008, [ 6 ] the ‘SE’ (for Edition) featuring matching and tachometer, special polished covers on a black engine, Triumph tank badge, wheels, upswept silencers, mudguards and a lower and narrower [ 7 ] The 2009 SE takes its cues the 1979 T140D Special which was the first Triumph to mag wheels and electronic ignition. [ 8 ]

Triumph Bonneville 50th special [ edit ]

For 2009, a Anniversary Bonneville was developed on the T100. A limited run of only 650 was with each one individually a brass plate on the handlebar and a certificate of authenticity, signed by Bloor. [ 9 ]
