Coast Chopper Sturgis

Ever since I covered the Chopper Build Off earlier week, I have been emails from readers, me to do a featured Chopper on one of Jesse’s I don’t actually have from Jesse to do a feature so Article may not always be up (I’m Jesse won’t mind, hey its publicity) but by request I am going to do a on one of the first bikes that got me Choppers. West Coast Sturgis Special !

I first saw this bike a few ago on Discovery Channels “Motorcycle II” as soon as I saw the Sturgis Special it one of the Two Bikes that made me in love with Choppers other is Daddy O by Indian Just seeing the clean the custom built frame, and gas tank just made the bike and choppers in General that it was all 100% Custom to the liking. A Chopper was a rideable of art that a builder could his own and seeing a the Sturgis Special me realize this.

What I really like the Sturgis Special is the frame. The is the body of the bike and its what everything together and the frame of the Special just has what a chopper frame should like. With its holes in the tubes, its clean lines, its and it just looks strong and like a chopper should!

Of course who can forget the gas tank on the The Gas tank is like the Heart and of a Chopper, its the first detail you on a Chopper, it helps make the and over all flow of the bike. The one chop has great, its smooth, no weld marks or scratch its clean and it stands out!

The Sturgis Special uses components such as a West Choppers El Diablo Frame, Racing Billet EVO Motor, 6 speed transmission with Shifter, WCC custom Exhaust, WCC Wheels, WCC custom Foot Brembo Brakes and Brembo Controls. Front Fork 38.0? Front Tire 80/90, Rear Tire 240/50

I can’t say their really is that I do not like on the Sturgis the only is the Front Fender a personal thing, I just front Fenders on Choppers) and the on the frame. Its not the most chromed I have seen and its actually ridding a lot so I can’t complain the chrome.

Overall I got to say the Sturgis is one of my favorite Choppers, it’s an bike and its everything you could ask for in a
