Yamaha TT 350

The TT350 is powered by a four-stroke, double overhead cam, four-valve engine that is purely air-cooled. The engine displaces at 346 cubic centimeters, and has a compression ratio of 9.0 to 1. Riders weighing up to around 220 lbs. (100kg) should find this sufficient. The capacity of the lubrication wet sump is 0.35 gallons (1.6 liters), and the engine is connected to a capacitor discharge ignition (CDI) system and kick starter.

A telescopic fork handles front suspension. The fork tube contains the coil springs and damper (fork oil and air). At the rear is a swingarm link suspension system, damped by a gas absorber.

The rear shock is adjustable. This suspension is suitable for some tricks on the dirt but would not be adequate for the motocross track.

The TT350 is fitted with drum brakes. Although drum brakes are not as responsive as discs, they are suitable for this bike and will function well even after being immersed in water.

The seat height is 33 inches (838 mm), similar to many street bikes. But this gain in seat height is not compromised by a loss in ground clearance — the bike has a minimum clearance of 12.2 inches (310 mm), which is a little higher than the highly popular TT250R models. The dry weight of the TT350 is 251.3 lbs. (114 kg), and the fuel capacity is 2 gallons (9 liters).
