SPORT STYLE, SPORTS ATTITUDE

This is sports-style riding taken to the extreme. With a strong and rigid frame, the very special X-MAX 125 Sport takes you about town – and beyond.

The scooter’s class is clear: from designer sports styling to a special seat, low windscreen and passenger backrest. And the liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 4-stroke, 125cc engine delivers the serious, punchy acceleration you need.

Large wheels with front and rear disc brakes offer great stability and control. Add extensive weather protection, a large and comfy double seat plus storage space for two helmets and you end up with the ultimate in sports-style riding on city streets: the X-MAX 125 Sport.

Stunning sports styling, city practicality and the power for longer trips – it all adds up to the X-MAX 125 Sport.

Benefiting from our expertise developing 4-stroke engines and our experience crafting stylish urban scooters, it can only be a Yamaha. Long rides are comfortable with a special coloured seat providing ample room for a rider and passenger; multiple storage spaces easily hold a weekend bag or other essentials.

While powerful stopping comes courtesy of large disc brakes, the package is completed with a low sports screen, passenger backrest and stylish sports instrument panel. The X-MAX 125 Sport takes you around – in and out of town.

Unique sport design

Like every X-MAX, the X-MAX 125 Sport inherits characteristics of the TMAX. The distinctive single-piece front face accomodates a large dashboard, with special sports styling. While side frame covers are curved for a dynamic, sporty look, a special low sports screen cuts through the air, combining aesthetics and practicality.

Powerful, confident braking

Sports riding means more than just acceleration and power: it means confidence when braking, too. So the X-MAX 125 Sport comes with large, powerful disc brakes at both front (267 mm) and rear (240 mm) – that’s all the stopping power you need, whatever the road surface and riding conditions.

Strong, rigid frame for better handling

A strong, rigid frame gives the X-MAX 125 Sport very dynamic and sporty riding characteristics. This layout provides great feel from the front wheel, giving you the sense of being more connected to the road. And the result?

Better overall handling and control.

Liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 125cc 4-stroke engine

For smooth, confident overtaking and manoeuvring even when carrying passengers, the X-MAX 125 Sport provides punchy acceleration. Its reliable, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 125cc, 4-stroke engine is also eco-friendly and economical to run. So whatever style of sports riding you prefer, this engine is up to the job.

Yamaha X-MAX 125

Large 15inch front and 14inch rear wheels combine with telescopic front forks and sporty rear suspension to deliver a smooth ride – whether you’re cruising a country lane, a cobblestone side street, or a pot-holed city road. Simply put, the X-MAX 125 Sport is perfect for day-to-day urban commuting as well as for longer leisure rides.

Flexible riding positions

Climb onboard the X-MAX 125 Sport and you’ll realise just how flexible the riding position is: ride actively or in a more relaxed style. The standard backrest ensures passengers always ride in comfort, too. Underneath the comfy dual seat, there’s plenty of storage space: enough for two full-face helmets.
